Overview
As a Payment Specialist, you will handle the flow of money between customers and the business. This includes processing invoices and ensuring checks are properly completed before they are sent out.
Areas of Responsibility
- Review applications for errors or inconsistencies to ensure all required information is included.
- Handle redemptions, ensuring correct processing.
- Receive, process, verify, and reconcile invoices.
- Compare system reports to balances and verify entries.
- Investigate billing statements to answer questions.
- Decide on resetting accounts, redemptions, and declining bonuses.
- Review account activity to identify fraudulent activity, money laundering, or anomalies requiring investigation.
- Assist other departments with payment-related queries.
- Investigate discrepancies in the system.
What we are looking for
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Payments Specialist.
- Bachelor's degree or at least 2 years of college education.
- Experience with USA/European Gaming accounts is preferred.
- Knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in account reconciliation.
- Attention to detail.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
