Overview

As a Payment Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the flow of money between customers and the business. This includes processing invoices and ensuring checks are properly completed before they are sent out.

Areas of Responsibility

• Review applications for errors or inconsistencies to ensure all required information is included.
• Handle redemptions, ensuring they are correctly processed.
• Receive, process, verify, and reconcile invoices.
• Compare system reports to balances and verify entries.
• Investigate billing statements to answer queries.
• Make decisions regarding account resets, redemptions, and bonus declines.
• Review account activity to detect fraudulent activity, money laundering, or other anomalies.
• Assist other departments with payment-related queries.
• Investigate discrepancies within the system.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Payments Specialist.
• Bachelor's degree or at least 2 years of college education.
• Experience with USA/European gaming accounts is preferred.
• Deep understanding of accounts payable, accounting standards, and regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Extensive experience in account reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively without micro-management.
• Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Capacity to work under pressure.
• Proactive approach with suggestions for process and system improvements.
