Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate mastery of a wide range of assembly operations such as operating machinery, packaging products, building products and soldering.
• Learning advanced skills such as product rework, machine maintenance, and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Relies on experience to solve problems and build different products.
• Meets the quality and productivity standards of the department.
• Applies knowledge to teach others and improve processes.
• Demonstrates initiative and desire to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
• Be aware of safety issues within assigned area.
• Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Required Qualifications

• Assembly experience and/or skills required.
• Work within established safety and quality standards
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Ability to work within minimal supervision
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes in assigned area
• Basic knowledge of department’s production business system
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

• Lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently
