We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Project Director to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of major projects. This role will be responsible for providing overall project leadership, managing budgets and timelines, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, overseeing stakeholders and contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.

• Provide strategic leadership and overall direction throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project strategies, execution plans, schedules, budgets, and performance objectives.
• Lead projects from initial planning, feasibility, design, procurement, and execution through completion and handover.
• Establish project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, budgets, and key performance indicators.
• Oversee project progress and ensure successful delivery in accordance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Manage project budgets, cost controls, financial forecasts, cash flow, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays, constraints, dependencies, and critical path issues.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams including engineers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, project managers, and other specialists.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, consultants, contractors, government authorities, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
• Oversee tendering, procurement, contract negotiations, contractor selection, and commercial arrangements.
• Review and manage contracts, variations, claims, payment matters, and other commercial issues.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to cost, schedule, quality, safety, resources, contracts, and stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable laws, regulations, safety requirements, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Establish strong project governance, reporting structures, quality assurance, and performance monitoring systems.
• Conduct regular project reviews, progress meetings, site inspections, and performance assessments.
• Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Legal, Engineering, Operations, HR, and other departments to ensure effective project execution.
• Provide regular project updates, financial reports, risk assessments, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Lead project change management and ensure effective control of scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, project close-out, handover, and post-project evaluation activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, digitalization, and operational efficiency throughout project delivery.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project management teams to build a high-performing and accountable project organization.
• Proven experience in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Real Estate, Infrastructure, or a related field.
• Significant experience in a senior project leadership role, preferably as Project Director, Senior Project Manager, Program Director, or similar.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex, or high-value projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, procurement, contracts, risk management, and project execution.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with experience managing multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing project budgets, contracts, variations, and financial performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make effective decisions under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
• Strong understanding of project governance, quality management, health and safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working with project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or other project management platforms is an advantage.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives, clients, investors, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
• Highly organized, proactive, accountable, and results-oriented.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, RICS, CIOB, PE, or equivalent certifications are an advantage.
