Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with extensive international travel (up to 80% of the time) required.

We offer a relocation package to individuals outside UAE.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent role.

Monthly Salary: Depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

1. Perform installations, inspections, aftermarket upgrades, and field works on turbines; direct supervisors and labor accordingly.
2. Manage, perform, and coordinate the installation and overhauls of steam turbines and heavy-duty gas turbines.
3. Respond to emergency repair requests and troubleshoot equipment.
4. Provide technical direction and support to customers and contractors during installations and outages.
5. Complete administrative tasks such as technical reports, material orders, quotations, and progress reports.
6. Authorize changes during overhauls.
7. Ensure work complies with technical, safety, and quality standards.
8. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting for customers.
9. Prepare detailed technical reports for records and future reference.
10. Coordinate shipment of parts needed for jobs.
11. Assist in market growth activities when not on-site, such as remote support and outage planning.
12. Maintain current knowledge of gas and steam turbines and related issues.

Additional Considerations

• Extensive international travel and field assignments required.
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and irregular hours as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical university degree with at least 6 years' experience on GE turbines or a high school diploma with 10 years' relevant experience.
• OEM field engineering training or equivalent is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of steam and gas turbines and associated equipment.
• Ability to interpret electrical/mechanical diagrams and BOMs.

• Familiarity with borescope, alignment, and thermal equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
