This executive-level role is responsible for mission-critical facility operations, customer delivery, regulatory engagement, governance, business continuity, and local team leadership across one of the world’s fastest-growing digital infrastructure markets.

The Operations Head will be responsible for the overall operational performance of the organization’s data centre business in Brazil, ensuring the highest standards of reliability, availability, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role extends beyond traditional facilities management and requires strategic leadership across operations, personnel, customer engagement, vendor management, budgeting, and governance. The successful candidate will oversee 24/7 mission-critical environments, develop high-performing local teams, and establish strong relationships with customers, utilities, regulators, and key business partners. Working closely with regional and global leadership teams, the Operations Head will drive operational excellence, business continuity, and long‑term growth initiatives. This position is ideal for a senior infrastructure leader with a proven track record managing high‑availability environments within data centres, critical facilities, or similarly demanding sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all mission‑critical operational activities across the Brazil business unit
• Ensure continuous availability, resilience, and performance of operational infrastructure
• Build, mentor, and develop high‑performing local operations and facilities teams
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, utilities, government agencies, regulators, and service providers
• Oversee operational governance, compliance, risk management, and performance reporting
• Manage country‑level budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cost optimization initiatives
• Drive operational excellence across service delivery, facilities management, and infrastructure reliability
• Develop and maintain business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response strategies
• Monitor operational KPIs, SLAs, and customer satisfaction metrics
• Lead vendor management, contract oversight, and strategic supplier relationships
• Champion health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards
• Partner with global leadership to execute regional growth and operational expansion plans

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 10+ years of leadership experience in data centres, critical facilities, digital infrastructure, or high‑reliability operational environments
• Proven experience managing mission‑critical operations with 24/7 service requirements
• Strong background in operations management, governance, and business performance leadership
• Demonstrated success in building, leading, and developing operational teams
• Experience managing customer relationships within enterprise or mission‑critical environments
• Strong understanding of operational risk, compliance, business continuity, and resilience frameworks
• Experience managing budgets, operational expenditures, and financial performance metrics
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Strong vendor and contract management experience
