About the role

We are seeking an experienced, data-savvy manager to lead our Operational Risk team. This role involves developing and implementing our Operational Risk Database on a global scale and enhancing our quantitative risk management capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics, stakeholder management, and risk strategy innovation.

The main objectives include delivering a compliant Operational Risk Database, expanding it globally, and driving data-driven decision-making through quantitative measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of the Operational Risk Database, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with risk management frameworks.
• Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and security, establishing data governance standards.
• Collaborate with Business Units and Areas to ensure integration and consistency of the database.
• Enhance quantitative risk assessment methods for better measurement and reporting.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and KRIs related to operational risk.
• Engage with senior leadership to communicate risk data insights and progress.

Qualifications:

• Experience leading data architecture projects within Nubank.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate insights.
• Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple projects effectively.
• Stakeholder management expertise.
