Cathay Care Home is seeking a Night Senior Nurse to take overall responsibility for the clinical and operational delivery during night shifts, ensuring high standards of care and patient safety.
You will lead and coordinate the team, oversee medications, align care with plans and regulatory standards, and work with the Home Manager to maintain a well organised, supportive environment. Nights only, with progression towards Clinical Lead roles.
£23.50 per hour
Contracted to full time hours per week
Paid PVG, Paid NMC, pension, uniform provided
5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear progression into Clinical Lead and Management roles within a well led, supportive environment where your clinical expertise is recognised and developed.
As Night Senior Nurse, you will take overall responsibility for the clinical and operational delivery of care during your shift, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times. This is a senior role where your leadership, clinical expertise and decision making will directly influence the quality and safety of care across the service.
You will lead and coordinate the team, oversee clinical practice, manage medication processes and ensure care is delivered in line with individual care plans, regulatory standards and best practice. You will take accountability for clinical decisions, respond to changes in condition and ensure continuity of care across the home.
Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will support staff development, promote good practice and contribute to a well organised, professional and supportive environment. You will take charge of the service out of hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, ensuring safe and effective operation at all times.
