Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to design and deploy NGFW-based security architectures across the state of Roraima. You will bridge the gap between our engineering team and field deployments, ensuring project scope, deadlines and quality are met.

The ideal candidate has solid NGFW experience, advanced networking and information security knowledge, and holds recognized certifications. You will travel to client sites for onsite deployments as needed across Roraima.

Qualificações

• Solid experience in NGFW projects and large-scale networks.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent with a 360-hour IT postgraduate qualification.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, dynamic routing, switching, IPsec/SSL VPNs and information security.
• Possess industry certifications such as Check Point, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet or ISO 27000 family.

Responsabilidades

• Architecture and Deployment: design, plan and deploy complex network security topologies and NGFW.
• Service Delivery: act as the interface between engineering and end customer in Roraima ensuring scope, deadlines and quality.
• Advanced Troubleshooting and Support: assist in resolving connectivity, routing, security policy and VPN issues.
• Field Work: perform technical visits and onsite deployments across the state of Roraima.
• Application Security: support design of rules and policies for edge protection and web app security.

Responsibilities

• Architecture and Deployment: Design, plan and deploy complex network security topologies and Next‑Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
• Service Delivery: Act as the technical interface between Future's engineering team and the end customer in Roraima, ensuring that project scope, deadlines and quality are strictly met.
• Advanced Troubleshooting and Support: Assist in resolving complex connectivity, routing, security policy and VPN issues.
• Field Work: Perform technical visits and onsite deployments at units and municipalities across the state of Roraima whenever necessary.
• Application Security: Support the design of rules and policies for edge protection and web application security.

Requirements

• Experience: Solid experience in implementation, migration and architecture projects involving Firewalls (NGFW) and large‑scale computer networks.
• Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in IT or a bachelor's degree in any field with a completed postgraduate qualification in IT (minimum 360 hours).
• Core Knowledge: Advanced expertise in Computer Networks (dynamic routing, switching, TCP/IP protocols, IPsec/SSL VPNs) and Information Security.
• Required Certifications (possess at least one of the following):
• Check Point CCSA or CCSE
• Cisco CCNA, CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Security
• Palo Alto PCNSA or PCNSE
• Fortinet NSE 4 or higher
• Equivalent industry certifications: CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CISSP, CISM or the ISO 27000 family.
