Jobtailor in Brazil (Paraná) seeks a security analyst to monitor logs, analyze network events, and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and proxies. You will perform vulnerability scans, support pen tests, enforce policies, and aid containment during incidents.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in log analysis, knowledge of network protocols, and hands-on NGFW/VPN/NAT/WAF experience, plus relevant certifications. Join a team focused on security and compliance.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 2 years experience in log analysis and event correlation.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S and VPNs.
• Experience configuring and managing firewalls, IDS/IPS and proxies.
• Administration of NGFWs, VPNs, NAT and IDS/IPS.
• Network troubleshooting and log analysis.
• Experience with Fortinet and Check Point.
• Knowledge of WAFs (Akamai, Cloudflare, Imperva).
• Degree in Computer Network Technology, Computer Science, Information Security or related fields.
• Security+, FCA, FCP-Network Security and CCNA desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Continuously analyze logs and network events to detect anomalous behavior and potential attacks.
• Configure, administer, and optimize firewalls, IDS/IPS and perimeter security solutions.
• Perform vulnerability scans and support penetration testing.
• Enforce security policies and ensure compliance.
• Support containment and recovery for moderate-impact incidents.
• Prepare technical reports on vulnerabilities, incidents and security indicators.
• Recommend adjustments to network processes and controls.
• Conduct basic security awareness training.
• Keep protection systems up to date by applying patches and updates.
• Assess medium-impact risks and recommend corrective measures.
