Scania is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to administer and improve network and security environments as part of a global team.

You will ensure availability, performance, and data integrity while supporting audits and global projects across Brazil and Europe. Strong English and 6+ years in network infrastructure are required, with Fortinet certification a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Technology or a related field is required.
• Advanced English proficiency is required.
• Proficiency in VRF-based network segmentation.
• Proficiency in OSPF, BGP and MPLS protocols.
• Proficiency in SD-WAN networks.
• Network capacity planning and QoS techniques.
• Knowledge of firewall operations.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in network infrastructure and security.
• Fortinet Certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages for automating network platform routines.

Responsabilidades

• Perform administration, maintenance and continuous improvement (SRE) of network and security environments, ensuring availability, performance and security of data communication services in accordance with Scania's global architecture standards and guidelines.
• Work on global projects, with organizational reporting in Brazil and functional reporting to Europe.
• Diagnose and resolve high‑complexity incidents, serving as a technical reference point for the team and supporting related areas in root cause identification and stabilization of environments.
• Support audit and compliance processes by providing technical information, evidence and assistance in preparing responses, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality and contributing to risk mitigation.

• Proficiency in OSPF, BGP and MPLS protocols.
• Proficiency in SD‑WAN networks.
