Overview

The Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining network solutions.

This position is remote in Brazil

What you will be doing:

• Establishing networking environment by implementing system configuration, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
• Following standards for internal documentation; ensuring consistency with documentation for network systems and procedures.
• Securing network system by enforcing procedures with minimal oversight from other team members.
• Responding to and resolving reported network issues with oversight from other team members.
• Implementing and maintaining recovery procedures for systems with oversight from other team members.
• Monitoring systems for anomalies and disruptions, and responding accordingly with minimal oversight from team members.
• Gathering information for audits of network devices to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
• Providing input for innovative solutions and assisting in the implementation of effective and successful changes to processes or technology.

What will make you successful:

• High School diploma, or equivalent
• Fluent in the English language
• Experience as a Network Administrator
• Good experience in systems administration
• Good experience with Linux Operating systems
• Good oral and written communication skills demonstrating a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
• Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
• Good collaboration skills, successfully applied within a team as well as with other areas
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Driven to learn and stay current with technology
