Overview

The Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining network solutions.

This position is remote in Brazil

What You Will Be Doing

1. Establishing networking environment by implementing system configuration, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
2. Following standards for internal documentation; ensuring consistency with documentation for network systems and procedures.
3. Securing network system by enforcing procedures with minimal oversight from other team members.
4. Responding to and resolving reported network issues with oversight from other team members.
5. Implementing and maintaining recovery procedures for systems with oversight from other team members.
6. Monitoring systems for anomalies and disruptions, and responding accordingly with minimal oversight from team members.
7. Gathering information for audits of network devices to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
8. Providing input for innovative solutions and assisting in the implementation of effective and successful changes to processes or technology.

What Will Make You Successful

1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. Fluent in English
3. Experience as a Network Administrator
4. Good experience in systems administration
5. Good experience with Linux operating systems
6. Good oral and written communication skills demonstrating professionalism and tact
