Jobtailor is seeking a senior technical leader to drive architecture and backend development for a strategic digital product. You will guide squads, perform discovery, and shape the backlog with an eye toward business impact and modern architectures.

Ideal candidates bring expertise in event-driven microservices, .NET backend development, and hands-on leadership to mentor engineers and align technical decisions with client goals.

Responsibilities

• Take a leading technical role in squads to build a digital product and modernize a strategic journey, focusing on enabling business impact through technology
• Understand client business problems and pain points through discovery activities
• Define the technical and functional product backlog
• Build a roadmap vision together with the management team using agile architecture concepts
• Define and validate incremental solutions and architectures in technical and business forums
• Help resolve business challenges
• Apply software engineering and architecture disciplines in building a digital product
• Implement practices of intentional architecture, evolutionary architecture and emergent design
• Define and implement product escalation and rollout strategies together with the team
• Lead and mentor architects and engineers
• Communicate and defend technical decisions to the client and engage the team in best practices and standards
