As a Medical Lab Technician at our Health Care Services facility located in Bibb Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of medical test results. You will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, analyzing and interpreting results, and maintaining accurate records of all tests performed. Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Medical Technologist
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by a recognized accrediting agency
• Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
• Knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Performing laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology
• Analyzing and interpreting test results, and reporting findings to healthcare professionals
• Maintaining accurate records of all tests performed and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments
• Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results
