You will read and interpret mechanical drawings and participate in improvement projects to increase equipment availability.

The role requires experience in the pharmaceutical or related industries, strong analytical thinking, and willingness to work weekends/holidays as needed.

Qualificações

Technical education in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics, or food industries.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Analytical, problem-solving mindset with strong logical reasoning.
Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.

Responsabilidades

Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on pharmaceutical production machinery.
Identify failures and replace or repair components as needed.
Execute inspection and lubrication plans for machinery across the facility.
Support installation and relocation of machinery and equipment.
Contribute to root cause investigations of failures and defects.
Test repaired machinery to ensure full functionality and safety.

Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on pharmaceutical production machinery and equipment
Identify failures and visual defects or detect them using specialized instruments, replacing or repairing components as needed
Execute the inspection and lubrication plan for machinery and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility
Perform maintenance tasks of varying complexity and contribute to root cause investigations of failures and defects
Test repaired machinery and equipment to ensure full functionality and safe operation
Support the installation and relocation of machinery and equipment
Read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings
Develop improvement projects to increase equipment availability and quality
Contribute to the preparation and review of preventive maintenance plans, inspection plans, operating procedures, and work instructions
Participate in operational excellence program activities

Requirements

Technical education in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics, or food industry
Knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals
Analytical skills, strong logical reasoning, and a problem-solving mindset
Availability to work weekends and holidays, as required by operations
Preferred: knowledge of and hands-on experience with Noack 960, PC4400, BEC500, C2504, BEC 300, C2205, B1240, C130, Wonder, Beta 500, Promatic P91 Vector, VMA Bohle, Garvens, Ishida, OCS, EBS, and Markem-Imaje equipment
Preferred: knowledge of Laetus, Antares Vision, and Omron vision system equipment
Preferred: knowledge of machining and fitting equipment and processes, including conventional lathes, universal milling machines, and cutting presses
