About the position of Mechanical Engineering Manager (Services)

As a Mechanical Engineering Manager (Services), you will lead and coach a team, responsible for the execution of engineering for services, mainly but not limited to Huisman products, in accordance with project requirements and Huisman standards.

As a Mechanical Engineering Manager (Services) you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and coaching team members of the engineering team.
  • Alignment of work with global Mechanical Engineering team leads for Services.
  • Provide technical advice to internal and external clients.
  • Create and update engineering deliverables, e.g. designs, drawings and technical specifications for services.
  • Supporting the execution of service projects, i.e. production, commissioning and testing and field engineering.
  • Constantly monitor, manage and report on scope, quality, budget and lead time of the service project.
  • Provide input for continuous improvement of Huisman products, services and processes.

Some practical things we need you to have:
