Job summary

Ruhrpumpen is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to analyze and approve mechanical designs, provide technical support to manufacturing and quality teams, and liaise with customers and suppliers. You will oversee heavy fabrication processes, prepare engineering documentation, participate in project kick-offs, and drive continuous improvement for pump systems and equipment reliability.

The role requires strong understanding of API 610/682, knowledge of seals, and proficiency with AutoCAD or Inventor,

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience with centrifugal pumps, rotating equipment, or pumping systems is essential.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Inventor is preferred.
• Intermediate or advanced English for technical communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, review, and approve mechanical manufacturing designs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and engineering specifications.

Requirements
