embecta, a global medical device company, seeks a Marketing Manager, Brazil, to drive growth across the Brazilian market. You will connect brand, commercial, customer, digital, and educational initiatives to deliver impactful trade marketing programs and elevate embecta's presence in healthcare.

This hybrid role is located in São Paulo and requires leading event planning, in-store activations, and Retail Media efforts while coordinating with Sales and external agencies to optimize spend and ROI.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum five years' experience in Marketing.
  • Experience managing events, congresses, trade fairs, educational programs, and promotional initiatives.
  • Translate marketing strategy and priorities into customer and market execution.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Trade Marketing on POS materials and in-store activation.
  • Strong project management with multiple agencies and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset with KPI tracking and ROI evaluation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management skills.
  • Portuguese and English mandatory; Spanish a plus.
  • Ability to work cross-functional and international teams.
  • Experience developing customer or channel plans, activations, and product launches.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop and implement annual strategic marketing plans for Brazil across patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Lead planning and execution of congresses, trade fairs, events, and promotional activities with agencies and vendors.
  • Coordinate educational programs and materials for pharmacy teams aligned with brand strategy.
  • Partner with Sales to enhance in-store visibility with POS materials and campaigns.
  • Drive Retail Media initiatives to boost product visibility and shopper engagement.
  • Support brand transition to Brazil-specific market while aligning with global strategies.
  • Manage external agencies and budgets, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Oversee marketing operations, vendor contracts, and budget tracking with Finance/Legal/Procurement.
  • Monitor market and channel performance; translate insights into growth initiatives.
  • Develop customer/channel plans with Sales for strategic accounts and priority channels.
  • Support Joint Business Planning and activation opportunities.
  • Create calendars for promotions and activations aligned with product launches.
  • Lead customer-specific activations, assortment decisions, and channel initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leaders on opportunities, activation plans, and ROI.
  • Support launch excellence for new products and commercial initiatives.

As the Marketing Manager, Brazil, you will play a key role in driving business growth across one of our most important markets. In this strategic position, you will connect brand, commercial, customer, digital, and educational, initiatives to deliver impactful trade marketing programs, strengthen customer partnerships, and elevate embecta's presence across the healthcare landscape.


This role is hybrid on-site two days a week at our Sao Paulo office


What You'll Be Doing


  • Develop and implement annual strategic marketing plans for Brazil, integrating initiatives across key audiences, including patients and healthcare professionals.

  • Lead the planning and execution of congresses, trade fairs, customer events, educational programs, and promotional activities, coordinating agencies, vendors, logistics, budgets, and execution.

  • Coordinate educational training programs and materials for pharmacy teams ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with brand strategy.

  • Partner with Sales team to strengthen in-store visibility, developing POS materials, promotional assets, and initiatives that support commercial objectives.

  • Drive Retail Media initiatives to increase product visibility, improve shopper engagement, and maximize opportunities across pharmacy and retail channels.

  • Support the ongoing embecta brand transition, ensuring consistent brand positioning and effective adaptation of global strategies to the Brazilian market.

  • Manage external agencies, suppliers, and partners, ensuring high-quality delivery, effective budget management, and alignment with marketing priorities.

  • Manage marketing operations and administrative processes, including purchase orders, vendor contracts, invoice and payment follow-up, budget tracking, and coordination with Finance, Legal and Procurement.

  • Monitor market, customer, and channel performance, translating insights into actionable marketing initiatives and opportunities for growth.

  • Develop customer and channel plans in partnership with Sales, translating business priorities into actionable trade marketing programs for strategic accounts and priority channels.

  • Support Joint Business Planning (JBP) and customer planning processes by identifying activation opportunities, shopper initiatives and programs that strengthen commercial execution.

  • Build and manage promotional and activation calendars, ensuring alignment with sales priorities, product launches, customer opportunities and key market moments.

  • Lead customer-specific and channel-specific activations, including in-store execution, assortment and visibility initiatives, promotional campaigns and other programs designed to accelerate growth.

  • Partner closely with Sales Managers and Key Account Managers to identify commercial opportunities, develop activation plans, execute initiatives and measure business impact.

  • Support launch excellence for new products and commercial initiatives, coordinating local value proposition, materials, channel activation, customer readiness and post-launch follow-up.

  • Define and monitor KPIs for key marketing and trade marketing initiatives, evaluate effectiveness and ROI, and recommend actions to continuously improve execution and investment allocation.

  • Bring customer, shopper and channel insights into local marketing planning, helping connect market realities with brand priorities and commercial opportunities.


What We're Looking For


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.

  • Minimum five years' experience in Marketing, preferably within healthcare or consumer goods.

  • Experience managing events, congresses, trade fairs, educational programs, and promotional initiatives.

  • Ability to translate marketing strategy and commercial priorities into strong customer and market execution.

  • Experience working closely with Sales and Trade Marketing, including POS materials and in-store activation.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, agencies, vendors, and stakeholders simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and business-oriented mindset, with experience managing KPIs and evaluating ROI.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Portuguese and English mandatory; Spanish is a plus.

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment.

  • Experience developing customer or channel plans, trade marketing activations, promotional calendars, product launches or Joint Business Plans is highly desirable.
