Description
The Manager, Talent Acquisition LATAM will drive team performance and deliver on our hiring plan within our high growth and fast-paced environment. As a leader in the global TA Team, this person will set an example of excellence and reflect our company values of Agility, Customer, and Accountability, besides being a key leader in sourcing, screening, selecting, and hiring talent for Align Technology to support our Latin America region
Success will be achieved by creating consistent and reliable TA process, executing them, and delivering results through the LATAM TA Team. This leader will provide high levels of customer care, develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and business partners as well as key external vendors. This leader will encourage their team to build diverse sourcing channels that achieve our aggressive recruiting plans. All of this while ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruiting process.
Role expectations
- Lead all talent acquisition efforts for our Commercial, G&A, Technical, and Early Career functions across the entire the LATAM region
- Be accountable for the performance of the LATAM Talent Acquisition Team by monitoring and improving our metrics and KPI’s
- Increasing motivation and morale within the Team by leading with empathy, creating transparency, clearly setting expectations, and holding a high standard for delivering
- Lead a team of TA Partners holding regular 1:1 meetings with each member as well as with internal partners and any necessary external vendors
- Partner with Finance to ensure hiring timeline and cost projections are staying in line with our annual operating plan
- Work closely with Finance and Sr. Director, TA to ensure TA’s budget is adhered to for the region each quarter
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and HR Partners, providing metrics and insights to tell the story of our hiring progress
- Conduct ongoing reviews of the Talent Acquisition function and market conditions in the region to improve the recruitment processes in partnership with our TA Operations Team
- Promote and drive the employee referral, internal mobility, and PCD (Brazil) hiring programs
- Be an advocate for creating a culture of recruitment throughout the region, empowering and activating our workforce to support with the company’s hiring goals
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Management, Communications or a related field of study or the equivalent applicable work experience
- At least 6-10 years of experience in the Talent Acquisition function;
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience leading a corporate or agency Talent Acquisition Team during a growth mode
- Ability and willingness to develop TA Partners, delivering on business objectives, and improving processes to aid scalability
- Proven ability to switch between strategic and tactical initiatives with a “can do” spirit
- Ability to influence and partner with high level stakeholders across the business
- Possess excellent communication, presentation, training, and facilitation skills
- English fluent is mandatory. Spanish is a plus.

- Proficient analytical skills utilizing BI tools (Microsoft PWBI) in order to make data driven decisions;
- Excellent project management, program management, and cross-functional partnership skills;
