Position Overview

The District Sales Manager is responsible for implementing sales strategies and achieving sales results within an industry or territory. They manage team efforts in both direct-led and indirect deals by leveraging partners and growing sales for the assigned sector or territory through the channel to fulfill customer needs. Responsibilities include planning and directing all sales activities such as managing forecasts, building the pipeline, developing policies, and talent development of the sales force. The Direct Sales Manager promotes a team culture aligned with Autodesk's values, collaborates across organizations, and engages internal resources. They establish short- and long-term goals and quotas, generate new business, develop customer relationships, and execute sound business practices. The District Manager reports to the Regional Manager for Emerging Business Construction Sales and this role is fully remote.

Responsibilities
  1. Hire, train, and lead a team of 5-7 Account Executives in your territory.
  2. Lead your team in closing larger enterprise deals.
  3. Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to position solutions effectively.
  4. Guide your team in identifying opportunities within current accounts to cross-sell products.
  5. Manage and qualify leads and pipeline with accurate responses and forecasts.
  6. Ensure CRM tools and Autodesk ACS methodologies are used to process and track opportunities.
  7. Coordinate efforts with Business Development Reps and Product Specialists.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of SaaS Sales Leadership experience.
  • Experience exceeding quota and revenue goals.
  • Experience in transactional and enterprise sales.
