Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Lead Security Cloud Engineer - GCP to design and run secure Google Cloud Platform services that align security with business outcomes. You will guide secure cloud strategies, automation, and compliant deployments across teams.

Responsibilities include enforcing governance, IAM, Workload Identity Federation, and secure landing zones, while enabling data and AI foundations and secure CI/CD pipelines on GKE. Collaboration with CISOs and SecOps is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing secure policies and services on Google Cloud Platform.
• Expertise in threat analysis and mitigation using SIEM tools (Google SecOps, WiZ).
• Experience defining security strategy with CISOs and governance requirements.
• Hands-on firewall, VPC, IAM, boundary protection and secure communications.
• Ability to automate security deployments with Terraform and secure CI/CD/DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Design and run secure policies and services on GCP aligned with business outcomes.
• Assist in defining security strategy with the CISO and Security Engineers.
• Enforce regulatory controls and support SOC/SecOps compliance.
• Configure IAM, Workload Identity Federation, and resource hierarchies.
• Deploy network security defenses, data protection, and threat observability.
• Apply AI agents to automate security deployment tasks and de-risk efforts.
• Lead secure landing zones and data/AI foundations across teams.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code for compliant security foundations in deployments.
• Operate secure containerized workloads on GKE and secure CI/CD pipelines.
