HCLTech is seeking a Lead Developer to design, develop and deliver .NET solutions, owning technical quality for the team. You will translate requirements into robust designs, guide engineers daily, and ensure secure, maintainable production delivery.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, architectural guidance, and collaboration with architects, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders. Location is Curitiba; on-site collaboration with global teams is expected.

Qualificações

• Hands-on software engineering with strong .NET expertise.
• Demonstrated experience leading small to mid-sized technical teams through full delivery cycles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or IT, or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Own detailed design for .NET components, interfaces and enhancements within the agreed architecture.
• Deliver hands-on development for complex or high-risk components alongside the team.
• Guide a team of developers on design decisions, coding standards and technical approach.
• Define and enforce unit, integration and regression testing expectations for the team.
• Build and evolve .NET services, Web APIs and background workers with clean separation of concerns.

Role Purpose

Lead the design, development and delivery of .NET solutions, owning technical quality for the team: translating requirements into robust designs, guiding engineers day to day, and ensuring predictable, secure and maintainable delivery into production.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Design & Delivery

• Own detailed design for .NET components, interfaces and enhancements within the agreed architecture.
• Break down requirements into technical tasks, estimates, sequencing and clear acceptance criteria.
• Deliver hands‑on development for complex or high‑risk components alongside the team.
• Ensure designs meet performance, security, reliability and maintainability expectations.
• Guide a team of developers on design decisions, coding standards and technical approach.
• Run code reviews, design walkthroughs, defect triage and technical knowledge sharing.
• Mentor engineers, support onboarding and build depth across the .NET skill set.
• Quality & Operations
• Define and enforce unit, integration and regression testing expectations for the team.
• Own build, release and deployment readiness including rollback and verification steps.
• Drive defect prevention, root‑cause analysis and permanent fixes over workarounds.
• Work with architects, business analysts, QA, DevOps and support teams across the delivery lifecycle.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, planning, estimation and dependency management.
• Maintain technical documentation, standards and reusable assets for the team.
• Build and evolve .NET services, Web APIs and background workers with clean separation of concerns.
• Apply modern .NET features, configuration, logging and dependency injection consistently across the codebase.
• Modernize legacy .NET Framework components towards modern .NET, containers and cloud‑ready hosting.

Required Technical Competencies

• Core Skills: C#, modern .NET, ASP.NET Core, Web API, dependency injection, async/concurrency, performance tuning.
• Data & Integration: Relational data design, Entity Framework, transactions, consistency, caching; REST APIs, messaging, event streaming.
• Platform & DevOps: Azure or equivalent cloud, containers and orchestration, CI/CD, IaC, automated quality gates, secure supply chain.
• Quality & Operations: Unit, integration, performance and resiliency testing; production readiness, monitoring, RCA.

Experience & Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience in software engineering with strong .NET expertise.
• Demonstrated experience leading small to mid‑sized technical teams through full delivery cycles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or IT, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant platform or cloud certifications advantageous, not mandatory.
