CI&T, a global technology partner with 30 years of experience, seeks a Master .NET Specialist to lead backend design, development, and integrations.

You will mentor engineers, drive robust services in C#, SQL Server, SOAP/REST APIs, and collaborate with multicultural teams across Brazil, the UK, and the USA, using English for all communication.

Qualificações

• Must have extensive .NET Framework and .NET Core experience in high-volume systems.
• Strong backend skills with C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
• Experience implementing SOAP and REST APIs with security and versioning.
• Deep understanding of SQL Server design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• XML serialization/deserialization for integrations.
• Familiarity with software design patterns and clean architecture.
• Proven ability to design unit and integration tests and troubleshoot issues.
• Effective communication in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for a Master .NET Specialist to lead the development and integration of complex back-end software solutions. In this role, you will work closely with a multicultural team distributed across Brazil, Colombia, the UK, and the USA, collaborating daily in English and setting technical direction for robust, scalable services and integrations.

Must-Have Skills:

• .NET Expertise: extensive experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core in high-volume, production systems
• Backend Development: advanced hands-on experience designing and building back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server
• APIs & Integration: strong background implementing and evolving SOAP and RESTful services, including versioning, security, and best practices
• Data & Persistence: deep understanding of ADO.NET and SQL Server, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning
• XML: proficiency in XML serialization/deserialization for integrations and data exchange
• Software Design: strong command of software design patterns, clean architecture principles, and engineering best practices
• Testing & Reliability: experience designing unit and integration tests, troubleshooting complex issues, and performing root-cause analysis to ensure reliability
• Communication: effective communication skills and resilience in fast-paced, multicultural teams
• Language: advanced English proficiency (all communication conducted in English)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain complex back-end services in C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server
• Implement and evolve SOAP and REST APIs, ensuring consistent standards for versioning, security, performance, and documentation
• Ensure service reliability through unit and integration testing, proactive troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of production incidents
• Collaborate on integrations between multiple systems and services, applying appropriate software design patterns and architectural principles
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and applying improvements to existing solutions
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and best practices to enhance development efficiency, quality, and deployment consistency

Soft Skills:

• Ownership & Continuous Improvement: proactive approach to taking responsibility, improving processes, and raising engineering standards
• Communication: strong ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, across cultures and time zones

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Cloud: experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Modern Practices: familiarity with specification-driven development and agentic approaches to software development
• Agile: exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
