The Impact You'll Make

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth cross-border operations by accurately classifying products under the correct tariff codes, reducing the risk of customs delays and compliance issues. Your expertise will directly support efficient import/export processes and protect the business from costly disruptions. You will bring technical knowledge and analytical thinking to translate complex product information into compliant fiscal classifications, helping the organization operate confidently in global markets. Your contribution will ensure that products—such as valves and related components—are classified correctly from the start, avoiding rework and ensuring seamless customs clearance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Classify products under the correct tariff codes to ensure compliance with customs regulations
• Review and validate material catalogs and technical documentation to assign accurate fiscal classifications
• Analyze similar product categories (e.g., valves) to prevent misclassification and reduce customs risks
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical details and ensure classification accuracy
• Identify and resolve classification discrepancies to avoid delays or issues at customs

What We're Looking For

• Experience with tariff classification and customs regulations (arancelaria / fiscal classification)
• Ability to interpret technical product information for accurate classification
• Familiarity with material catalogs and classification tools/systems
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Intermediate English proficiency (Spanish not mandatory)
