CI&T is seeking a MID Software Engineer, AI‑First Development to build scalable software, leveraging AI to boost engineering productivity and automate workflows. You will own services end‑to‑end and contribute to cloud‑native enterprise applications using Java and Python.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of software development, strong Java/Python skills, and hands‑on Azure, Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake experience. Collaboration with global teams and mentoring are key parts of the role.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Python.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
• Proven experience designing and developing enterprise‑grade microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud‑native architectures.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

Responsabilidades

• Work closely with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore engineering teams.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design sessions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while promoting engineering excellence and AI adoption.

We are seeking a highly skilled MID Software Engineer, AI-First Development who is passionate about building modern, scalable software while leveraging Artificial Intelligence to dramatically improve engineering productivity. This is a hands‑on engineering role for someone who embraces AI‑first software development, automates repetitive engineering tasks, and takes end‑to‑end ownership of the services they build.

The ideal candidate is an expert in Java, Python, Azure, Azure Databricks, Microservices, and modern SDLC practices, with proven experience delivering cloud‑native enterprise applications. Beyond technical expertise, we are looking for an engineer who actively uses AI to accelerate software delivery, improve code quality, automate engineering workflows, and increase developer productivity.
