CI&T is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, AI-First Development to build modern, scalable software while leveraging AI to boost engineering productivity. You will own services end-to-end, employing AI-first techniques to automate repetitive tasks and accelerate delivery.

The ideal candidate brings strong Java and Python skills, hands-on Azure, Databricks, Spark experience, and a proven track record in microservices and cloud-native architectures.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
• Proven experience designing and developing enterprise-grade microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Git, automated testing frameworks, and Agile software development.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Work closely with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with onsite and offshore engineering teams.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design sessions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while promoting engineering excellence and AI adoption.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer, AI-First Development who is passionate about building modern, scalable software while leveraging Artificial Intelligence to dramatically improve engineering productivity. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who embraces AI-first software development, automates repetitive engineering tasks, and takes end-to-end ownership of the services they build.

The ideal candidate is an expert in Java, Python, Azure, Azure Databricks, Microservices, and modern SDLC practices, with proven experience delivering cloud-native enterpriseapplications. Beyond technical expertise, we are looking for an engineer who actively uses AI toaccelerate software delivery, improve code quality, automate engineering workflows, and increase developer productivity.
