Job summary

Engenious is seeking an IT Solution Architect to ensure alignment of application architecture across Engineering, Manufacturing, and R&D with global and local guidelines. You will collaborate with factories in South America, Brazil and Colombia, to design and review architectures.

You will create architectural diagrams, work with Global IT and Enterprise Architects, and support future technology directions. English proficiency (C1) is required; Portuguese/Spanish is a plus.

• Ability to collaborate in an international, cross-functional environment.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles and integration standards.

We are looking for an IT Solution Architect responsible for ensuring the consistency and alignment of application architecture across Engineering, Manufacturing, and R&D with the organization's global and local guidelines. The role involves direct collaboration with factories in South America (Brazil and Colombia).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the alignment of application architecture with enterprise architecture and global and local standards.
• Review and assess architecture during the software design and development process.
• Collaborate with project teams, Global IT, and the Enterprise Architect on planning, implementing, and maintaining technology solutions.
• Create architectural diagrams for both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Support the definition of the future direction of systems architecture in line with business needs and technological requirements

Requirements

• Experience in designing and overseeing IT systems architecture, particularly in Engineering, Manufacturing, and R&D.
• Ability to collaborate in an international, cross-functional environment.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles and integration standards.
• Experience working in large, global industrial organizations is a plus.
• Availability to work with factories in South America (Brazil and Colombia). The candidate must be comfortable working an 8-hour day within the 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM time window. In practice, working hours may vary, for example, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on some days, while on others, a business meeting with a factory may take place at 9:00 PM.
• English proficiency at C1 level is required.
• Portuguese, Spanish, or Brazilian Portuguese is a plus.
