Job summary

CI&T Brazil is seeking a Senior Software Architect to lead the development team, shape software architecture, and ensure secure, scalable solutions across the WEB stack. You will mentor juniors, collaborate with multiple teams, and drive CI/CD adoption while embracing new frameworks and technologies.

This role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication with clients, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team technically to build and maintain applications, and to work with new technologies.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions.
• Create & maintain the product backlog, working with Squad Leaders and clients to break down user stories into tasks.
• Ensure solutions follow security and performance best practices.
• Create & maintain design and other client-required documentation.
• Communicate with client teams to discuss technical solutions.
• Understand requirements and propose viable technical solutions using appropriate frameworks.
• Guarantee a stable and productive development environment.

• Interact with multiple teams to help them define and implement scalable and secure solutions.

• Lead and train other Developers, mapping succession plans and talents and technical guidance
• Solid experience in software architecture design and technical leadership.
• Comfort learning new frameworks.
• Experience designing software architecture and defining frameworks and technologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with WEB stack (React, Next.js, HTML, TypeScript, CSS)
• Ability to create proof of concepts and coding complex mechanisms.
• Willingness to work with different technologies and learn every day.
• Ability to share your knowledge with more junior team members.

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Lead technically the team and enable the development team to build, enhance, and maintain applications. as well as to work with new technologies.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions.
• Create & maintain the product backlog, working closely with the Squad Leaders and the client to break down the user stories into manageable tasks.
• Ensure that solutions are following security and performance best practices.
• Create & maintain design and other documentation required by the clients.
• Communicate with customer’s team members to discuss technical solutions.
• Understand requirements and make viable technical solutions by choosing appropriate frameworks.
• Guarantee a stable and productive development environment.

We expect candidates to have knowledge in some, but not necessarily all fields below:

• Knowledge of non-functional requirements (performance, security, privacy, GDPR and etc)
• Knowledge of Design Patterns, Clean Architecture and Clean coding
• Knowledge of unit, integration and E2E testing
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code.
