Cadence Design Systems is seeking an Application Engineer I for Physical Design - Synthesis and Digital Implementation in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. You will join the Global Customer Success team to support digital flows and provide solutions to customers.

The role emphasizes debugging and scripting (Perl/TCL/Python) with collaboration to R&D. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics is required, with CMOS/digital fundamentals and process knowledge preferred.

Qualificações

  • Complete Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or related fields.
  • Exposure to CMOS fundamentals, Digital Electronics, process technologies.
  • Basic scripting languages such as Perl/TCL/Python.
  • Must have excellent debugging and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

  • Help customers in enhancing their productivity, debug complex issues and provide solutions in the digital tools & flows.
  • Establish technical credibility and rapport with the customer and R&D.
  • Produce knowledge content and high-level documents to increase self-service and create out-of-the-box solutions.

As an Application Engineer, you will be part of Global Customer Success (GCS) team in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The GCS team works with Digital, Analog, Verification, Systems tools. To understand more on our tools & flows, you can visit https://www.cadence.com

Job Responsibilities
  • Help customers in enhancing their productivity, debug complex issues and provide solutions in the digital tools & flows.
  • Establish technical credibility and rapport with the customer and R&D.
  • Ensuring high impact knowledge content, tool adoption kits and other high-level documents to increase the self-service for customers. Produce out-of-the-box solutions to customer problems using either tool capabilities or scripting techniques.
Minimum Requirements
  • Complete Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or related fields.
  • Candidate should have exposure to CMOS fundamentals, Digital Electronics, process technologies etc.
  • Basic understanding of scripting languages such as Perl/TCL/Python
  • Must have excellent debugging and analytical skills
Nice To Have
  • Exposure to physical design is added advantage
  • Exposure to Cadence Digital tools is a plus
