MISC Group seeks an Instrument Technician to execute instrumentation maintenance on offshore rigs, ensuring reliability, operability and safety of systems in line with planned maintenance programs.
The role requires 5+ years in FPSOs or offshore environments, 2+ years as an Instrument Technician, and advanced English. The candidate will collaborate with third-party providers and support startup/shutdown activities onboard.

Execute instrumentation maintenance activities onboard, ensuring the reliability, operability, and safety of instrumentation systems through predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance in compliance with planned maintenance systems and operational procedures.
Execute predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on instrumentation systems in accordance with work orders and supervisor instructions.
Perform interventions on onboard instrumentation systems to ensure compliance with the planned maintenance program.
Provide technical support during equipment, system, and production start-ups, planned shutdowns, and operational activities.
Monitor and support third-party service providers performing instrumentation work onboard.
Assist in troubleshooting instrumentation failures to ensure safe and reliable operations.
Support emergency response activities, including supervising tasks and coordinating with third-party representatives when required.
Perform all activities in accordance with company procedures, SOPs, and safety requirements.
Technical Degree in Instrumentation, Automation, or Electrical (recognized by MEC or an equivalent international institution).
Minimum 5 years of experience in FPSOs or offshore rigs in operation.
At least 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician.
Experience with predictive, preventive, and corrective instrumentation maintenance.
Ability to support production start-ups, shutdowns, and troubleshooting activities.
English: Advanced (mandatory).
