Alignerr is seeking an IAM Analyst (AI Training) for remote, hourly contract work. You will analyze IAM, SSO, and access controls to surface weaknesses, classify permission issues, and evaluate zero-trust designs.

The role involves generating data to train AI models and delivering expert feedback on identity risk. The position offers flexible 10–40 hours per week, with freelance perks and global collaboration opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Analyze IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to surface weaknesses and misconfigurations
• Classify permission issues, privilege escalation paths, and identity‑related failures
• Review zero‑trust models and evaluate access design decisions for correctness and risk
• Generate and validate realistic identity security data used to train and benchmark AI systems
• Provide structured, expert‑level feedback that helps AI understand how real‑world IAM failures emerge and propagate

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms
• Solid understanding of RBAC, least‑privilege principles, and access review processes
• Familiar with how identity failures occur and how attackers exploit misconfigured access controls
• Able to think analytically about complex permission structures and articulate findings clearly
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in an async environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with platforms like Okta, Azure AD, AWS IAM, or SailPoint
• Familiarity with zero‑trust architecture and modern identity frameworks
• Background in penetration testing, red teaming, or security consulting
• Prior exposure to AI or data labeling workflows
