We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Human Resources department as HR Business Partner.

The HR Business Partner is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our Operations. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  1. The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
  2. A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
  3. Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment.
  4. Coaching and mentoring at management level.
  5. Success in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs.
  6. Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.
  7. Flexibility, fantastic communication skills and huge amounts of drive.
  8. The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves".
  9. A strong solutions focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.
  10. Strong internal and external customer service focus.
  11. The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on results.
  12. Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence.
  13. Must be able to interface at all levels of the organization.
  14. Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
  15. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3+ years experience as Human Resources Business Partner and Talent Management or similar roles.
  • Experience in operational environment.
  • Experience supporting hourly employee client groups.
  • English and Portuguese Fluent. (C1+)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills, including the understanding of metrics to support plans and monitor performance.
  • Experience influencing leaders in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to prepare high quality documents with an ability to interface with multiple levels within the organization to influence outcomes.
  • Experience managing projects.
  • Advanced degree from a graduate school. (MBA or Masters in HRM preferred).
  • Experience in a carrier/transportation company, distribution center, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in leading at scale.
