Rippling is seeking an experienced Global Payroll Operations Specialist (Brazil) to own all operational payroll aspects for Brazil, collaborate with external partners, and help expand our Brazil market. The role requires hands-on payroll execution, regulatory expertise, and cross-team coordination.

You will work on implementing Brazil-specific payroll capabilities, ensuring compliant processes, and supporting new Brazilian customers through onboarding and data validation.

Qualificações

• 4+ years in Brazilian payroll processing.
• 2+ years in a client-facing role.
• Hands-on with local payroll software in Brazil.
• Strong knowledge of Brazil payroll regulations (CLT).
• Experience supporting or leading Brazil payroll implementations.
• Proficient in Docs/Sheets/Excel for data analysis.
• Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish; English preferred.

About the role

We're looking for an experienced payroll specialist to join Rippling 's Global Payroll Operations team. We are rapidly expanding Rippling to serve the needs of employees and employers all over the world. Our Global Payroll Operations team plays a critical role in ensuring the success of our global payroll products, which are natively built and fully integrated with Rippling 's broader suite of products. As Rippling expands its product offerings globally, there is a critical business need for Rippling to develop new muscles around global product operations and country-specific payroll expertise outside of the US. This role, Global Payroll Operations Specialist (Brazil), is a critical hire for the Global Payroll Operations team that will be fully dedicated to developing and executing these new capabilities in Brazil. This role will own all operational payroll aspects for Brazil, relationships with our external partners, and drive our expansion into new customer segments in-market. This role also plays a key part in onboarding new Brazilian customers, bringing hands-on implementation experience alongside critical country-specific payroll expertise to support the development of our natively built payroll software. What you will do

• Execute timely payroll, filings, and payments for all customers in Brazil
• Support customer implementations in Brazil, including data migration, parallel runs, and go-live validation for new payroll customers
• Drive issue resolution and communication with Brazilian government agencies (eSocial, INSS, Receita Federal, FGTS, Caixa) and partners; you will directly interface with our customers and resolve issues on their behalf
• Work closely with Global Payroll Engineering and Product teams to ensure that: Natively built payroll software supports key Brazilian payroll and tax compliance requirements (eSocial, INSS, FGTS, 13th salary, férias, rescisão)
• Internal tooling requirements are properly prioritized and implemented

What you will need

• Minimum of 4+ years in a Brazilian payroll processing role, and minimum of 2+ years in a client facing role
• Strong Brazil payroll experience
• Hands-on expertise running local payroll software, particularly Senior, including configuration, troubleshooting, and validating outputs
• Experience supporting or leading customer implementations/onboarding in Brazil
• Process payroll activities in accordance with company guidelines, social security, legislation, and local tax requirements
• Experience with Google Suite or Microsoft Office, especially Docs/Sheets/Excel, for data analysis and task organization; familiarity with Salesforce queues, JIRA, and Confluence a plus
• Ability to review and validate calculations
• Must have understanding of payroll concepts
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian payroll regulations
• Has working experience with payroll related systems and software
• Deep understanding of Brazilian leave entitlements
• Good knowledge of Brazilian labor legislation (CLT)
• Strong organizational skills and able to work under strict deadlines
• Fluent in Spanish and Portugese - written and spoken (C1 level English or higher preferred)
