Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit is seeking a global process specialist in Tap Changers to lead process, method and equipment improvements across related units. You will develop and update key documentation and set standard equipment requirements linked to process performance.

You will support Transfer of Technology with new layouts, on-site start-up assistance, and drive manufacturing optimization while ensuring quality and cost targets.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science.
• At least 5 years of experience in operations in a relevant industry.
• Background in tap changers.
• Strong analytical and systemic problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication skills.
• Experience in international companies and working with different countries and cultures.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the global process specialist in Tap Changers, related to process, method and equipment in related units.
• Develop and update documentation such as Production Standards, Quality Inspection Cards, User Manuals and Training & Certificate material related to the related processes employed in Tap Changer factories.
• Develop standard equipment requirements, linked with process performance and critical to quality characteristics.
• Support factories in Transfer of Technology process, including development of new layouts and introduction of latest state-of art in production. On-site support of several weeks during production start-ups.
• Optimize / improve the manufacturing operations maximizing the asset utilization, at lowest cost, while making sure that the quality standards and customer requirements are met.
• Support digitalization and automation in the related production sites.
• Participate in global forums to share best practices.
• Be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• You will act as the global process specialist in Tap Changers, related to process, method and equipment in related units.

Your background

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in science.
• You bring at least 5 years of experience from operations from a relevant industry.
• You have background of working in the field of tap changers.
• You have strong analytical and systemic problem-solving skills with clear passion to develop and change self and others.
• You are fluent in English (written and spoken) combined with excellent communication skills.
• You have already gained experience in international companies and working with different countries and cultures.
