Jobgether is seeking a Fullstack Developer Pleno in Brazil to join a partner-led team focused on AI-powered digital solutions. You will work primarily on backend systems, crafting robust APIs, services, and integrations with Node.js and Python, while collaborating with frontend teams and leaders to validate rapid prototypes and MVPs.

The role emphasizes cloud deployment, AI workloads, and scalable architectures in an agile, collaborative setting.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Fullstack Developer Pleno based in Brazil.

Join a digital transformation and engineering team focused on building innovative, AI-powered digital solutions. In this role, you will primarily focus on backend development, creating robust APIs, services, and integrations that power AI-driven prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs). You will work with modern technologies, including Node.js, Python, cloud platforms, and large language models (LLMs), helping turn business ideas into practical, scalable solutions. Collaborating closely with frontend developers, UX designers, and technical leaders, you will contribute to rapid experimentation and product validation. This is an opportunity to solve complex technical challenges in an agile, collaborative environment while expanding your expertise in AI integration, cloud engineering, and software architecture.

Accountabilities

• Backend Development and API Design: Design, develop, and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs and backend services using Node.js and/or Python, ensuring clean, maintainable, testable code and reliable error handling.
• System Integration: Integrate relational and NoSQL databases, messaging queues, and third-party APIs to support diverse project requirements and ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
• AI and LLM Integration: Build backend services that connect with LLM APIs and AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Vertex AI, enabling intelligent applications and automated workflows.
• AI Agent Orchestration: Develop orchestration logic for AI agents, tools, and multistep workflows, including retrieval, function calling, and reusable components for prompt management, logging, evaluation, and safeguards.
• Cloud Development and Deployment: Develop and deploy services on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, using containerization technologies such as Docker where appropriate.
• Infrastructure and Monitoring: Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and lightweight infrastructure-as-code practices, implementing monitoring, logging, and basic performance optimization to support rapid prototyping and pilot projects.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, UX designers, and technical leads to deliver cohesive end-to-end experiences, participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions, and contribute to project estimations.
• Continuous Improvement: Refine user stories and technical tasks, identify opportunities to simplify implementation, and recommend practical solutions that accelerate learning, experimentation, and product delivery.

Requirements

• Backend Development Experience: Strong hands-on experience developing backend applications with Node.js and/or Python.
• API Design and Security: Solid understanding of API design, authentication, authorization, and integration patterns.
• Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Databases: Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including basic data modeling.
• AI and LLM Technologies: Interest in or experience integrating backend services with AI and LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and automated workflows.
• Agile Delivery: Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, iterative projects where requirements may be incomplete and priorities can change.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking, adaptability, and a proactive approach to identifying solutions and improving technical outcomes.
• Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to technical discussions, and communicate ideas clearly.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, or serverless functions.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, semantic search, and vector databases.
• Experience with CI/CD, observability, and performance optimization for distributed systems.
• Knowledge of API security best practices, secrets management, and data privacy.
