Jobtailor seeks a highly capable Java backend developer to build robust, scalable applications and to optimize infrastructure. The role involves designing, coding, testing and maintaining Java-based software while aligning with business goals and system architecture.

You will work with REST APIs, databases such as MySQL/Oracle, and modern frontend/back-end tools. Exposure to Kubernetes/OpenShift, DevOps and cloud monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana is required.

• Proficiency in Java and related frameworks/tools (Quarkus, Spring Boot, Maven, EJB, WebLogic) and frontend/runtime technologies (Node.js, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, JavaScript, CSS).


• Databases: MySQL, Oracle and Hive.


• Experience with DevOps practices.


• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF), Extreme Programming (XP), Lean Manufacturing).


• Concepts of distributed computing and microservices.


• Container orchestration (Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, Rancher).


• Codebase management, build processes and version control (Git, GitLab).
