Jobtailor in Curitiba, Brazil seeks an experienced senior backend/frontend developer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and REST APIs. You will work across frontend and backend, integrate with Flutter-powered mobile apps, and drive event-driven, cloud-based solutions.

The role requires strong Java, Spring Boot, and cloud skills, plus familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong experience in Java development.
Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, HTML, and CSS.
Strong understanding of design principles and development best practices.
Proven experience building robust and scalable applications.
Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring (JBoss) and Spring Boot.
Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
Familiarity with JSP, React, and Next.js.
Experience with integrations involving mobile applications developed in Flutter.
Knowledge of event and message processing using Azure Service Bus and RabbitMQ.
Experience with PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of cloud computing, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficient with Git version control.
Pluses: experience with microservices architecture; knowledge of CI/CD; experience with distributed systems and asynchronous processing; knowledge of observability, monitoring, and logging; experience with automated testing and test-driven development; experience in high-volume, high-availability, and mission-critical environments; certifications or proven experience in Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud; experience with Agile methodologies.
