IBM Consulting is seeking engineers to refactor and modernize legacy applications for a cloud-native architecture, develop microservices and APIs, and implement modern integration patterns. You will participate in code reviews and help optimize performance across complex environments.

Proficiency with Java 17, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and Kafka is preferred, as you collaborate with teams to ensure traceability, quality, and reliable deliveries in hybrid cloud initiatives.

Qualificações

• Experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.x in production environments.
• Experience refactoring and modernizing legacy apps for cloud-native architectures.
• Experience developing microservices and APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions for automated deployments.

Your Role And Responsibilities

• Develop microservices and APIs, and implement modern integration patterns.

• Ensure the traceability, quality, and integrity of deliveries in complex environments.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.x.


• Experience refactoring and modernizing legacy applications for a cloud-native architecture.


• Experience developing microservices.


• Knowledge of Angular.


• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.


• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.


• Knowledge of Apache Kafka.


• Experience developing and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.


• Experience with code review, performance optimization, and best development practices.


• Knowledge of modern integration patterns and software architecture.


• Ability to ensure traceability, quality, and integrity of deliverables in complex environments.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Proficiency in Containerization: Exposure to containerized workloads and serverless architectures, with knowledge of Azure Container Service, Azure Container Registry, and Azure Kubernetes Services.


• Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps: Experience with developing progressive web applications using Single Page Applications (SPA) and microfrontends.


• Familiarity with Purposed Databases: Exposure to purposed databases, including Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Cache for Redis.
