IBM Consulting in São Paulo is seeking an experienced Java backend professional to refactor legacy applications into a cloud-native architecture and to develop microservices and APIs. You will implement modern integration patterns, optimize performance, and ensure high-quality deliveries in complex environments.

The role requires hands-on work with Java 17, Spring Boot 3.x, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, with REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Refactoring/modernizing legacy apps for cloud-native architecture.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Experience refactoring and modernizing legacy applications for a cloud-native architecture.
• Experience developing microservices.
• Knowledge of Angular.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka.
• Experience developing and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with code review, performance optimization, and best development practices.
• Knowledge of modern integration patterns and software architecture.
• Ability to ensure traceability, quality, and integrity of deliverables in complex environments.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Proficiency in Containerization: Exposure to containerized workloads and serverless architectures, including Azure Container Service, Azure Kubernetes Services, and Azure Functions.
• Knowledge of Cloud-Native CI/CD: Experience with cloud-native CI/CD for change release, including Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Azure CI.
• Familiarity with Purposed Databases: Exposure to purposed databases, including Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Cache for Redis.
