AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to extend an internal developer portal and dashboard, primarily on a Java backend with an optional frontend rewrite in TypeScript. You will integrate with Snowflake and various databases, design RESTful APIs, and ensure quality through testing and profiling.

The role demands 4+ years of Java backend experience, TypeScript frontend ability, strong API design, and Git proficiency, plus upper-intermediate English.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to continue the development and extension of an internal developer portal and dashboard, working heavily on a custom Java backend while maintaining and potentially rewriting the frontend using TypeScript. You will integrate the application with Snowflake, relational, and non-relational database environments, design and implement RESTful APIs, and ensure code quality through unit testing and performance profiling. The role requires 4+ years of Java backend experience with TypeScript frontend flexibility and the ability to architect a potential frontend rewrite.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

MUST HAVES

• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Familiarity with modern component-based UI frameworks (such as React or Angular) to support the TypeScript rewrite.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience operating within an Agile/Scrum environment.
