AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to extend an internal developer portal and dashboard. You’ll work on a Java backend while potentially rewriting the frontend with TypeScript, and you’ll integrate with Snowflake and other databases.

Strong RESTful API design, unit testing, and performance profiling are required. The role demands at least 4+ years in backend Java, frontend versatility with TypeScript, and an ability to architect a frontend rewrite if needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to continue the development and extension of an internal developer portal and dashboard, working heavily on a custom Java backend while maintaining and potentially rewriting the frontend using TypeScript. You will integrate the application with Snowflake, relational, and non-relational database environments, design and implement RESTful APIs, and ensure code quality through unit testing and performance profiling. The role requires 4+ years of Java backend experience with TypeScript frontend flexibility and the ability to architect a potential frontend rewrite.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Familiarity with modern component-based UI frameworks (such as React or Angular) to support the TypeScript rewrite.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience operating within an Agile/Scrum environment.
