Qualificações

• Diploma or relevant qualification in FM, Fire Safety or related discipline with fire safety certification.
• Preferably 3 years in facilities management, building operations, fire safety in multi-site environments.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and maintain compliance records and trackers.

Responsabilidades

• Support the SFSM in overseeing fire safety compliance across properties and facilities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and compliance checks to identify deficiencies and ensure corrective actions.
• Assist with Fire Certificate applications and renewals, tracking expiry dates and docs.
• Maintain fire safety records, inspection checklists, statutory documents and trackers.
• Support development and implementation of fire safety SOPs and guidelines.
• Coordinate and support fire drills, emergency exercises and training programs.
• Assist with fire safety training, briefings and inductions for employees and site teams.
• Prepare for inspections, audits and regulatory requirements and follow up on gaps.
• Investigate fire-related incidents and monitor status of safety systems.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors and stakeholders on safety matters.
• Prepare safety reports and management updates; support industry recognition programs.

The Fire Safety & Compliance Executive supports the Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) in strengthening fire safety standards and ensuring consistent compliance across the Company's portfolio of facilities. The role works closely with site operations teams, FSMs, service partners and relevant stakeholders to monitor fire safety requirements, conduct site inspections, maintain compliance documentation, support Fire Certificate renewals, coordinate fire safety training and emergency exercises, and follow up on identified gaps. The position is suitable for an individual who is comfortable working both onsite between different project sites and administratively and has a strong interest in building fire safety and facilities management.

Key responsibilities

• Support the SFSM in overseeing fire safety compliance across the Company's managed properties and facilities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and compliance checks to identify fire safety deficiencies and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Assist sites with Fire Certificate applications and renewals, including tracking expiry dates, documentation and follow-up actions.
• Maintain and monitor fire safety records, inspection checklists, statutory documents and compliance trackers.
• Support the development, review and implementation of fire safety SOPs, checklists, guidelines and standard requirements across projects.
• Coordinate and support fire drills, table-top exercises, emergency preparedness activities and other fire safety programmes.
• Assist with fire safety training, briefings and induction programmes for employees and site teams.
• Support site teams in preparation for fire safety inspections, audits and regulatory requirements.
• Follow up on fire safety observations, non-compliances and corrective actions with site teams and relevant service partners.
• Assist in investigations involving fire-related incidents, alarms, system failures or other fire safety concerns.
• Monitor the maintenance and inspection status of fire protection systems and highlight overdue or outstanding items for follow-up.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors, service providers and other stakeholders on fire safety and compliance matters.
• Prepare fire safety reports, compliance statistics, presentations and management updates as required.
• Support initiatives to improve fire safety awareness, standards and practices across the organisation.
• Assist with submissions and participation in industry fire safety recognition and award programmes.
• Perform other fire safety, emergency preparedness and compliance duties assigned by the SFSM.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Facilities Management, Fire Safety, Building Services, Engineering, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or a related discipline with relevant fire safety qualification or certification.
• Preferably 3 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building operations, fire safety, compliance or a related field preferably working in commercial buildings, institutional facilities, public‑sector premises or multi‑site facilities management operations.
• Basic knowledge of building fire safety requirements and fire protection systems, understanding of facilities management and building operations.
• Ability to conduct site inspections, identify fire safety or compliance gaps, maintain compliance records, trackers, inspection reports and supporting documentation.
• Able to identify issues, recommend practical solutions, **escalate** significant risks appropriately and follow up firmly and systematically on outstanding compliance matters.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, inspection findings and maintenance records.
• Familiarity with fire drills, emergency response procedures and Fire Certificate processes would be advantageous.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail, good organisational, time-management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating closely with site operations teams.
• Willing to learn and develop deeper technical competency in fire safety and compliance.
• Good hands‑on and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
