Job summary

Atlas Copco in Sorocaba, Brazil, is seeking an FP&A Expert to drive financial planning, strategic analysis, and decision support. You will partner with business units to improve profitability and efficiency, lead planning cycles, and develop models for investments and M&A opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
• Master’s degree, MBA, or specialization in Finance or Controllership will be a plus.
• Experience with Power BI and budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning (LRP).
• Experience in financial modeling and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
• Experience partnering with operational departments and presenting to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations of Customer Center, analyze KPIs and identify risks, opportunities, and trends.
• Lead projects to improve internal controls and tax/administrative processes, including tax reform.
• Contribute to monthly closes, ensuring quality and reliability of financial information.
• Analyze finances of acquired companies and support integration and future acquisitions.
• Support audits with analyses and documentation required by auditors.
• Act as a strategic partner, delivering analyses, projections, and recommendations.
• Ensure quality of reporting through accounting close processes.
• Manage Budget, Forecast, and Long-Range Planning cycles aligned with strategic priorities.
• Develop/refine financial models for investments and expansion opportunities.
• Lead automation of reports, dashboards, and analytics for efficiency and insights.

Financial Planning & Analysis Expert | Customer Center CT Finance Sorocaba Brazil Hybrid

Your role

Create value for the company through financial planning, strategic analysis, and decision-making support, contributing to the business’s sustainable growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Your day-to-day

• Be responsible for the financial oversight of Customer Center operations, conducting financial and operational analyses of key performance indicators (KPIs), and identifying risks, opportunities, and trends for the business.
• Lead and participate in projects aimed at improving and evolving internal controls and financial, accounting, administrative, and tax processes, including initiatives related to tax reform.
• Actively contribute to the monthly closing processes, ensuring the quality, reliability, and consistency of financial information.
• Conduct financial analyses of acquired companies and support the company’s integration processes and future acquisitions.
• Participate in internal and external audits, providing the information, analyses, and support necessary to meet the auditors’ requirements.
• Serve as a strategic partner to the business units, offering financial analyses, projections, and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Ensure the quality of reported financial information by participating in the accounting close processes.
• Conduct the Budget, Forecast, and Long-Term Planning (LRP) cycles, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic priorities and objectives.
• Develop and refine financial models for evaluating investments, strategic projects, and expansion opportunities.
• Lead initiatives to automate reports, dashboards, and analytics, promoting greater efficiency, agility, and the generation of business insights.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
• A master’s degree, MBA, or specialization in Finance, Controllership, Business Management, or related fields will be considered a plus.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning (LRP).
• Experience in financial modeling.
• Experience in scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis.
• Knowledge of profitability, margin, and financial performance analysis.
• Experience serving as a business partner to operational departments and leadership.
• Experience preparing management reports, executive presentations, and communicating results.
• Experience in Finance, FP&A, Controllership, or related fields.
