Qualificações

• 6+ anos de experiência relevante em finanças e/ou auditoria.
• Experiência em relatórios estatutários para seguros e reservas técnicas.

• Gerenciar auditorias externas e garantir a conclusão oportuna dos processos.

Schedule & Location:
This is a full-time position located at Av. Pres. Juscelino Kubitschek, 360 - 14 andar Sao Paulo, São Paulo 04543-000 Brazil. Four days per week in-office is required with flexibility to work remotely on Tuesdays or Fridays, weekly. All candidates must pass an English language assessment to be considered.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local rules (SUSEP) including audited financial statements, and all schedules required by regulatory bodies including meaningful review and analysis of results (communicate significant variances).
2. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements (Technical reserves, Solvency, SCR and actuarial reporting requirements).
3. Deliver detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
4. Manage external audits and ensure timely completion of audit processes.
5. Assist with drafting, implementing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for company-wide use.
6. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
7. Collaborate with other departments including Treasury, Tax, legal and Business Operations to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Highly Preferred Education:

1. Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. MBA.
3. Professional CPA Designation/Certification.

Required Work Experience:

1. 6+ years relevant work experience in finance and/or audit.
2. 6+ years previous tenure of statutory reporting preparation for insurance on technical reserves, reinsurance, SCR, solvency and actuarial – (SUSEP, CNSP tax authority).
3. 3+ years relevant work experience in a management role leading a small team.

Highly Preferred Work Experience:

1. Work experience in the insurance industry.

1. Thorough knowledge of BR GAAP and US GAAP compliance.
2. Effective working relationships with others both within and outside of their team.
3. Highly organized and detail oriented in all assignments.
4. Accuracy, analytical skills and attention to detail are required.
5. Strong multi-tasking skills; must manage responsibilities under strict deadlines.
