We seek a highly analytical and technical professional with extensive experience in financial management and complex accounting reconciliations, capable of leading the account reconciliation process across three distinct business verticals. The manager will oversee database reconstruction, validate accounting data, and cross-check business rules, working closely with specialists from each area to ensure data integrity, traceability, and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting and financial reconciliation processes, focusing on asset, liability, and income accounts with accuracy and traceability.
  • Coordinate the mapping and reconstruction of financial and accounting databases, validating historical and current data.
  • Develop and review detailed working papers, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal practices.
  • Create and interpret queries (SQL or similar) for extracting and analyzing large datasets.
  • Diagnose financial inconsistencies, perform internal audits, and suggest improvements.
  • Analyze and structure accounting and business rules, collaborating with subject-matter experts.
  • Coordinate technical and functional teams to ensure high-quality, data-driven deliverables.
  • Support legacy issue resolution and structuring of chart of accounts and cost centers, ensuring alignment across units.
  • Collaborate with FinOps, Controllership, Accounting, IT, and operational teams for alignment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in complex financial and accounting reconciliations
  • Strong knowledge of chart of accounts, third-party account closings, provisions, and intercompany reconciliations
  • Advanced skills in Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Proficiency in SQL queries and analysis (mandatory)
  • Experience with ERP systems (TOTVS, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Ability to interpret technical data into actionable financial insights
  • Experience in multi-business environments or holding companies is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering is required
  • Postgraduate or MBA in Finance, Controllership, or related fields is a plus
  • Excellent English skills (verbal and written) are mandatory.

Nice to have:

  • Certifications such as CRC, CPA-10/20, CCA, etc.
  • Experience restructuring financial processes or implementing new accounting governance practices
  • Familiarity with multiple business verticals or operational units
