Team Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a high-energy, fast-growing company, where you’ll have a real impact across the organisation. As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll have a direct impact on shaping financial strategies and influencing key decisions across the business. You’ll work closely with various teams to help build financial systems for new business divisions, and you’ll dive deep into data to uncover opportunities, risks, and financial insights that drive growth. You’ll be part of a close-knit, passionate team that values fresh perspectives and innovative thinking. In this role, your work will be key to the success of the business, and you'll have the chance to leave your mark as we scale and expand.
Role Responsibilities
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
    • Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes to ensure full alignment with business strategic objectives and operational realities

    • Develop rolling financial projections with scenario analysis to support agile decision-making

  • Financial Infrastructure Development

    • Architect financial tracking systems for emerging business lines

    • Establish KPIs and monitoring mechanisms for critical financial metrics

  • Financial Operations

    • Oversee month-end closing procedures and P&L reporting

    • Implement controls to enhance accuracy and mitigate financial risks

  • Strategic Analysis

    • Conduct multidimensional financial analyses flexibly

    • Delivery necessary report towards leadership team to support decision-making

  • Business Partnership

    • Serve as strategic finance advisor to business unit leaders

    • Co-develop financial targets and growth roadmaps

  • Teamwork

    • Provide coaching and mentorship to junior finance staff.Foster continuous learning culture within finance team

  • Additional Responsibilities

    • Address ad-hoc strategic finance projects as required

    Role Qualifications
    • Academic Backfground: Bachelor‘s (or above) degree in Finance, Accounting, or a STEM field;Advanced credentials (CPA/CMA/MBA) preferred;
    • Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in a finance-related role;High-growth environment exposure highly valued;
    • Technical Skills: 1. Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis; 2.Advanced Excel&SQL proficiency; 3. Statistical programming skills (Python/R) a plus;
    • Business Acumen: Demonstrated impact on financial performance;Internet/tech industry knowledge advantageous
    • Soft Skills: A collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills, enabling you to influence and work effectively with people at all levels; Advanced in both English and Portuguese.
