The Field Service Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will be part of the Service Resident team, providing technical service within the IVD Laboratory of a dedicated customer site. The role involves handling service tickets related to POV demands, following governance standards to execute all service requests with excellence.

This position is based in Curitiba and will be remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to continuously reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be part of the Field Service Team, reporting to the Tech Service Leader, and responsible for providing frontline support by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and aim to build a world-class Field Services organization, read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment, providing excellent service and technical training to customers.
• Maintain accurate service logs, order repair parts, and adhere to cycle times using systems like ServiceMax, SharePoint, KPI tools, and Service Call Planning.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, addressing their needs, and assist in training new Field Service Engineers.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Associate degree in a technical field (biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering, or related).
• At least 1 year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotic, electronic equipment, or instrumentation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to generate reports.
• Ownership of Install Base management.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record over the last three years.

Preferred qualifications include:

• 3+ years of advanced troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to develop positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Proficiency in English at an advanced level.
