A leading company in the beverage industry seeks a skilled technician to install and support their equipment at customer sites. The role requires strong technical expertise in automation and electrical systems, with a focus on customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have experience in field activities and a willingness to travel extensively.
Perform installation, start-up, commissioning, and testing of Sidel equipment supplied to customer sites, with specialization in automation.
Provide technical assistance during and after the warranty period, conduct training, and deliver other after-sales services for Sidel equipment installed at customer sites.
Develop a good understanding of customer needs to offer objective advice and ensure customer satisfaction.
Description: Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer plants based on technical, contractual, and safety specifications.
Operate automation systems, HMI, and electrical plant for routine activities and troubleshooting according to standard operating procedures.
Properly handle, check, and transfer equipment non-conformities.
Regularly submit work time and technical reports related to activities performed.
Ensure maximum internal and external customer satisfaction.
Perform activities in line with SOPs, Sidel coordination plan rules, and customer guidelines.
Report any after-sales opportunities identified at customer sites.
Coach junior colleagues on on-site behavior, technical activities, troubleshooting, and reporting deliverables.
Report to the ISM regarding team site activities.
Qualifications: 3 years of experience in field activities.
Experience in the beverage industry preferred.
Solid technical background in automation and electrical systems (Tia Portal, Step7, Rockwell Automation, B&R).
Knowledge of Sidel portfolio is a plus.
Understanding of process machinery upstream of Sidel equipment.
Knowledge of microbiological principles, hygienic and environmental guidelines.
Willingness to travel up to 90% in an international environment.
Experience in the beverage industry is not mandatory; potential, soft skills, and behaviors are highly valued.
Languages: Spanish and English at least at an intermediate level.
