Tokyo Electron Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a Field Engineer to install and maintain complex semiconductor equipment on-site, ensuring minimal production delays.

You will perform on-site installation, troubleshooting, service, repairs, preventive maintenance, and parts overhauls while acting as the customer liaison on technical matters.

The role requires strong communication, independence, willingness to work in cleanrooms, and 12-hour rotating shifts; a degree in engineering is required.

Qualificações

• Degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering or equivalent.
• Some relevant experience with semiconductor equipment knowledge.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous, organized and resourceful team player.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including day/night on a 4/3 rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service and repair of complex equipment and systems.
• Perform continual improvement programmes, parts overhaul, preventive maintenance, modifications and repairs.
• Serve as company liaison with the customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
• Coordinate logistics arrangements with customers on equipment-related matters.
• Respond to customer complaints and provide timely solutions to resolve issues.
• Monitor product performance and provide regular reports and feedback on service requests.
• Report common customer complaints to management for future reference.

We are seeking for aspiringField Engineerto join our talented team. The ideal candidate will apply engineering principles and techniques to perform equipment engineering in a manufacturing environment, ensuring proper installations and maintenance of equipment to minimise production delay.

What you will be doing:

• Provide highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems
• Perform continual improvement programmes, parts’ overhaul, preventive maintenance, modifications and repair works on equipment
• Serve as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects
• Coordinate logistics arrangements and with customer on equipment related matters
• Respond to customers’ complaints, provides time to solutions to resolve customers’ issues
• Monitors the performance of the product, provide regular update report and feedback on customer’s service requests
• Report common complaints of customers to management in order to address the situation for future reference
